Using its technology the company has streamlined a traditionally slow, email-heavy process, and reports a default rate of 1.26%, zero credit losses to date, and a 69% repeat-customer rate. The business was founded by former investment banking professional Eamonn McMahon and soft-launched in 2021. equipal is based in London and has positioned itself within the SME equipment finance and embedded finance market.
