  Viatu provides a ‘connected trip’ platform that lets travellers book every aspect of a multi-day itinerary—accommodation, experiences, and car rental—through a single interface. Its core product is a data-driven, fully customisable trip builder with live pricing and availability delivered via API plug‑ins, supported by AI to simplify bookings. The company currently specialises in sub‑Saharan African destinations including Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda and South Africa, with plans to add more global destinations. Viatu intends to finish building its direct booking system and launch the customer interface, while continuously improving functionality based on customer experience. Founded in 2020 in Zug, Switzerland, the team has grown to 15 people representing 10 nationalities, with over half based in Africa. Financially, Viatu has raised $1.2M to date, including the $1M seed announced in this round.
