Laevitas is a data analytics platform that implements quantitative finance models to analyze crypto-asset derivatives markets, including futures and options. Launched in early 2021 by Hassen Naas, a former World Economic Forum project specialist, the company is incorporated in Canton Vaud and runs a distributed team of 20. Its platform serves more than 2,000 daily active users as well as several hedge funds, market makers and trading firms. In the coming months Laevitas plans to launch a new user interface, additional features and integrations with leading projects to enable seamless access to data and analytical tools. Its product roadmap includes pricing for crypto exotics, risk management using spot/vol ladders, spread analytics and volatility curve construction. The company says the seed financing will fund expansion of its analytics and research suite and growth of users and ecosystem partners, with a particular focus on DeFi derivatives, options pricing and risk management.

Polkastarter is a Polkadot-based permissionless DEX designed for cross-chain token pools, auctions, and protected OTC transactions. The platform supports cross-chain, fixed, and dynamic swaps and integrates full KYC to enable secure and compliant fundraising beyond ERC20. It aims to address scalability and high-fee issues in existing DeFi by leveraging Polkadot interoperability to provide lower fees and greater flexibility. Polkastarter plans a Uniswap listing and will dedicate part of its funds to add liquidity to give community members access to tokens. Its native token, POLS, has a total supply of 100 million, with 42.5 million sold; the team estimates an initial market cap of $893,750 and a fully diluted market cap of $5 million upon Uniswap listing. Team and advisor tokens will be locked for at least one year, and seed/private round investors will be subject to vesting schedules between 3 and 8 months.
