Migeca is the Italian catering company behind the Ca’puccino coffee house brand. The company operates 17 points of sale, mainly in shopping centres, department stores such as Harrods, Westfield and King’s Road in London, and various fashion outlets in Italy. It employs approximately 250 people. Migeca intends to use the new funds to open additional points of sale in Italy and the UK over the next two years. The business was founded in 2006 by Giacomo Moncalvo, who completed a €1.5m recap as part of the transaction. The financing is positioned to support the company’s planned retail expansion.
