Fyber is a Berlin-based mobile advertising technology company that connects app developers and media companies with advertisers across every device. The company offers a suite of products including a supply-side platform, ad server, ad exchange and mediation products. Led by CEO Andreas Bodzcek, Fyber operates as an independent adtech provider. In June 2017 it secured $7.9m (£5.8m) in alternative financing to support growth. The financing was provided as an invoice-financing facility by ad-tech alternative financing specialist BillFront and is intended to help Fyber scale globally. The deal is set against a rising European alternative-financing market that had provided £337m to roughly 10,000 businesses over the prior three years. Fyber provides mobile advertising technology and is expanding its presence in the global mobile advertising market. The company raised as much as €150 million (about $169M) in a convertible bond to support that expansion. The capital is intended to continue growing its mobile advertising business internationally. Last October RNTS Media acquired Fyber for $190 million in a transaction that enabled the company to go public on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. RNTS Media is now changing Fyber’s listing so it will appear on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Fyber continues to operate under its own name.
