Scil Proteins is a Halle, Germany-based biopharmaceutical company discovering therapeutics targeting cancer and other therapeutic areas. It develops products derived from its Affilin® platform, a fully patent-protected screening technology that uses advanced selection systems to identify target-specific molecules. The company has generated a pipeline of Affilin® therapeutics and also offers its technology to industry partners for collaborative discovery and development. Led by CEO Dr. Ulrike Fiedler, Scil intends to use the new financing to advance two products into clinical Phase I over the next three years. Scil Proteins closed a €24m financing round with its existing investor BioNet Holding.
