Resbiotic builds a science-driven Gut‑X Axis platform that connects gut health to whole‑body outcomes and develops clinically validated prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic formulations. Its flagship product, resB® Lung Support, is the first clinically tested probiotic targeting the gut–lung axis for respiratory health; other products include resG prebeet (prebiotic) and resM GLP‑1 postbiotic. The company operates a vertically integrated R&D model combining preclinical testing and product-level clinical trials and emphasizes physician-formulated, evidence-based supplements. Resbiotic sells direct-to-consumer via its ecommerce platform and has nationwide retail distribution through Walmart. It also operates a growing B2B ingredient and formulations business that supplies proprietary microbiome-based ingredients and formulations. The company announced a new financing package of $14.5 million to support product portfolio expansion, scale retail and ecommerce distribution, and strengthen its B2B business. ResBiotic develops probiotic formulations aimed at improving lung health, including a medical food that targets the gut–lung axis. Its proprietary probiotic blend was developed in Dr. C. Vivek Lal’s Pulmonary Microbiome Lab at UAB with input from the university’s Microbiome Center, Lung Health Center and TReNDD program and has been shown to reduce neutrophilic inflammation in individuals with chronic respiratory conditions. The company’s research and development pipeline also includes pharmabiotics for multiple chronic lung diseases. ResBiotic intends to use proceeds from its seed funding to support the development and commercialization of these formulations. Leadership includes founder Dr. C. Vivek Lal and an executive team and scientific advisory board featuring probiotics expert Scott Bush (EVP of Strategy), Dr. Sanjay Singh, UAB scientists Drs.
