Evelar Solar is a Salt Lake City, UT–based company that provides a SaaS proprietary technology platform for the solar industry. Its platform instantly calculates a homeowner’s energy usage requirements, qualifies them as viable solar candidates, and centralizes marketing, sales, customer service and data acquisition. The platform pairs those capabilities with localized engineering, procurement, construction and finance partners in target markets. Led by CEO Spencer Angerbauer, the company completed a $5.0 million financing comprised of a Series A and mezzanine round provided by Black Oak Capital Partners. As part of the financing, Black Oak LP Todd Heiner joined the Evelar board as chairman. Evelar intends to use the proceeds to further develop its technology platform, provide working capital to accelerate growth of its residential and commercial business lines, and support geographic expansion into New York City, Boston, South Carolina and New Jersey.
