Weitec provides digital-transformation and precision-agriculture tools targeted at small and medium farms of 1–10 hectares. Its core product is a SaaS platform under development, designed to give farm managers data to make informed decisions and take data-driven actions. The company is building an MVP and already serves more than 30 customers while monitoring 5,500 hectares as part of product development. Weitec closed a €365,000 funding round—above an initial €250,000 target—to acquire equipment and expand coverage to the southeast of the peninsula. It plans to launch the MVP in summer 2024, open a second funding round in Q1 2025 to pursue national scale, and aims to manage remote drone flights by the end of 2025 through continued R&D. Mario Quesada is the CEO.
