  Founded in 2019, Toffee Coffee Roasters began as a café concept and pivoted to packaged coffee during the 2020 lockdown, positioning itself as a mass-premium alternative to imported or café-only specialty brews. The company offers roasted and ground coffee, cold brews, and capsule formats aimed at bringing global-style coffee experiences to Indian homes at accessible prices. Distribution spans major e-commerce marketplaces, the company’s own DTC site, and quick-commerce platforms, giving the brand nationwide reach. Exposure on Shark Tank India and backing from OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal have boosted consumer awareness. In its latest Pre-Series A round, the startup raised ₹5 crore to fuel expansion. Management plans to deploy roughly 60 % of the proceeds toward working capital, 10–15 % toward roastery infrastructure upgrades, and 10 % toward packaging enhancements and new product development. By upgrading backend capabilities and broadening its product line, Toffee Coffee Roasters aims to bridge the gap between mass and premium coffee offerings in India.
