BTS Group focuses primarily on the Mass Transit business which it operates via its majority-owned subsidiary, Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Co., Ltd. (BTSC). BTSC is the exclusive concessionaire and operator of the BTS SkyTrain Core Network (Green line), its extensions and the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. BTSG is the controlling partner in the consortium that was awarded the Pink and Yellow monorail line concessions. BTS Group also focuses on the Media business which it operates via its majority-owned subsidiary, VGI Global Media PCL (VGI). VGI is a unique market leader in Thailand providing fully integrated Offline-to-Online (O2O) Solutions for their clients. Through U City PCL (U City), their associate, is developing or investing in residential and recurring income properties predominantly in close proximity to mass transit lines to benefit from the “mass transit premium”. U City is Thailand’s 2nd largest listed hotel group that directly and indirectly owns, operates or manages over 19,000 keys globally. The company is described as one of the leading internet Quality of Experience (QoE) firms and operates in over 25 countries, monitoring more than 80 operators. Its core product suite, QoE Everywhere, delivers real-time customer-perspective data and advanced analytics to ensure quality and regulatory compliance, optimise networks, and enhance customer experience. In 2022 MedUX reported impressive revenue growth, expanded its customer base and global presence, and launched initiatives such as a 5G QoE benchmarking campaign in Europe. The newly raised capital will support international growth, organic and inorganic expansion, consolidation in Latin America, product innovation and scaling of the QoE Everywhere suite. Planned market projects include launches in Chile and Colombia, enhanced internet speed measurement and a massive crowdsourcing system for mobile data quality indicators. MedUX aims to increase recurring revenues, drive sustained profitability and continue expanding its international presence. MedUX provides proprietary hardware and software to measure, monitor and improve user experience and quality across fixed, mobile and TV networks. The company holds several USPTO patents for its fixed, mobile and TV measurement robots and its proprietary speed test. The firm plans to use the new funding to open new markets, accelerate growth, and develop new business areas, products and use cases focused on 5G, Wi‑Fi6 and FTTx.
