Mytonomy offers a Cloud for Healthcare — a modular video-based patient engagement platform that combines 2,000+ broadcast-quality short-form videos with a new CRM to optimize healthcare content streaming and omnichannel engagement. The platform delivers video, audio, and written content that incorporates microlearning principles to drive patient usage and engagement. Mytonomy serves blue-chip healthcare customers and positions its tools across the entire care journey. The company is led by CEO and co-founder Anjali Kataria. Financially, Mytonomy announced a $25M Series B to support continued growth. The company intends to use the proceeds to expand its business reach. Mytonomy provides a cloud-based patient education, engagement and experience platform that leverages behavior science to support the care continuum. Its Patient Experience Cloud covers pre-arrival procedure preparation, in-patient admission, discharge instruction, at-home care and ambulatory clinic visits. The platform is designed to span multiple care settings to improve patient education and engagement across episodes of care. The company is led by CEO Anjali Kataria and President Vinay Bhargava. Mytonomy intends to use recent funding to accelerate market expansion of its Patient Experience Cloud. The company is based in Bethesda, Maryland. Mytonomy is an alumni-powered, video-based peer-to-peer college counseling service that connects high-school and college-bound students with alumni advisors through a video Q&A format. Launched in fall 2011 by Vinay Bhargava and Sean Burke, the platform targets users aged 14–25 and is used at over 100 high schools, with thousands of students having checked in. Individual students, college groups, educators and working professionals can use Mytonomy for free, while schools license premium features (Mytonomy Plus) at $5 per student per year for analytics and private video networks. The site emphasizes curated, guidance-focused video content to supplement overworked counselors and to provide first-generation and underprivileged students access to alumni perspectives. Mytonomy is expanding into new languages, starting with Spanish, and is considering incentive structures for volunteer contributors to boost participation and quality. The company used part of an early $250K funding package to roll out a new user interface to improve the site's user experience.
