Overview
AlpInvest Partners ("AlpInvest") is the private equity fund-of-funds adviser in The Carlyle Group’s Solutions business segment. AlpInvest invests across the private equity spectrum, including large and middle market buyout, growth capital, and venture capital, as well as mezzanine and distressed debt, in the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, emerging markets and other non-traditional markets. These investments fall within three investment strategies: primary fund investments, secondary investments, and co-investments. As of June 30, 2015, AlpInvest managed over USD 47 billion of client assets on a discretionary basis. AlpInvest provides investment advisory services to pooled investment vehicles sponsored by AlpInvest and customized separately managed accounts, both of which are typically offered only to sophisticated institutional investors, such as government entities, pension funds, insurance companies and large endowments, as well as high net worth individuals and large family offices. AlpInvest employs more than 150 people and operates globally with offices in Amsterdam, New York, Indianapolis and Hong Kong.

ReNew is a publicly listed decarbonization solutions company and independent power producer with a gross clean energy portfolio of approximately 19.2 GW (including 1.5 GW of BESS) as of February 12, 2026. Its commercial and industrial platform, ReNew Green, has 2.5 GW of committed capacity across multiple states, with over 2.0 GW commissioned and about 1.3 GW contracted under long-term agreements with customers such as Microsoft, Amazon and Google. ReNew also operates manufacturing capacity of 6.5 GW of solar modules and 2.5 GW of solar cells and is expanding its solar cell manufacturing capacity by an additional 4 GW. The company provides end-to-end clean energy solutions, value-added energy offerings through digitalization, storage, and carbon market services. ReNew is listed on Nasdaq (RNW, RNWWW) and serves a diversified customer base across sectors including automotive, chemicals, cement, textiles and technology.

Maison Sport is a London-based marketplace that connects independent ski and snowboard instructors with customers through a technology platform. Led by CEO Nick Robinson, the platform features instructor reviews left only by past customers to help new customers make informed decisions. The marketplace currently includes over 400 resorts and more than 1,300 qualified instructors across France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. The company recently raised £2.5M in a Series A round, with a further £500K due to close within weeks. Maison Sport intends to use the funds to accelerate European expansion and enhance the customer experience. Planned product investments include rolling out AI and customer service robots that will leverage intelligent aggregated data capture. Former Winter Olympian Luke Steyn joined the board of directors to provide expertise and strategic support. Maison Sport operates an online marketplace of ski team members and fully qualified ski instructors, led by Founder and CEO Nick Robinson. The platform currently covers more than 350 resorts and over 1,200 qualified instructors across France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. The company plans to grow its instructor portfolio and loyal customer base globally and to enter new markets. In 2021 the team targeted expansion into Scotland, Norway, Sweden and Japan, with further expansion into Asia and South America planned for the following year. Maison Sport also intends to expand its team from 15 to 20, open a new Edinburgh office, enhance its booking technology, and develop new brand partnerships. The funding will be used to support independent ski instructors and accelerate these product, team and geographic expansions.
