  • altFINS

    Led · Seed · Jul 2020

altFINS is a platform for investors and active traders to aggregate data and news, analyze altcoins, generate trade ideas, execute trades, and monitor crypto portfolios across exchanges. Founded in 2018, the company emphasizes pre-trade and post-trade analytics to help users generate trading ideas and understand performance across multiple crypto venues. The platform aggregates fragmented market data—the article notes over 1,000 unique digital assets traded across some 300 crypto exchanges—and aims to bring transparency and professional analytics to the space. altFINS combines trade idea discovery and execution with fundamental analysis, positioning itself against market players focused mainly on trade execution. The company says it will use the fresh capital to expand platform capabilities and scalability and to support global expansion toward private and institutional investors. Management highlights growing institutional interest in digital assets and intends to guide investors as allocations to crypto increase.

It won the UPLIFT accelerator programme this year and is preparing further field tests, modernization of its technologies, development of data tools, and market-entry preparations. The startup intends to enter the Slovak and Central European markets first and aims to expand into Europe, North and South America, and Australia, targeting a share of the €65 billion annual global nitrogen fertilizer market. Nitroterra is also applying for EIC Accelerator grant funding to support implementation of these projects.
