Nurulize develops fully immersive virtual reality software and experiences specifically for head-mounted display devices such as Oculus and others. The company was founded in 2013 by CEO Philip Lunn and Scott Metzger and is based in Culver City, California. Its client base already includes Audi AG and Nikon Inc. In August 2015 Nurulize raised $2.0m in seed funding led by Chaos Group. Peter Mitev, Chaos Group CEO, joined Nurulize’s board in conjunction with the financing. Nurulize intends to use the funds to enhance its technology, grow its team and expand its client base.
