  SEEV develops and manufactures micro‑optical components for augmented‑reality eyewear, including the industry’s first mass‑production single‑layer full‑color diffractive waveguides fabricated in silicon carbide. Its engineering process uses deep‑UV lithography and ICP plasma etching on silicon substrates, leveraging SiC’s higher refractive index (~2.7) to produce full‑color images in a single layer. The company’s factory previously had annual capacity of one million waveguide kits and plans to raise that to 1.5 million units after commissioning new equipment in Q4 2026. SEEV’s modules are already used in commercial devices such as Coray Air2 and Nimbo X1, and the firm has confirmed orders exceeding ¥100 million with a projected revenue potential of up to ¥1 billion over three years. The recent financing will expand its IDM production base to reduce reliance on prototype‑scale manufacturing and enable supply for over thirty smart‑glass models in the 2026–2027 season.
