SanteVet is a French pet insurance intermediary that operates under the Compagnie des Animaux umbrella, managing the brands SanteVet, Bulle Bleue, and Jim & Joe. The company intermediates pet insurance and plans to further develop its digital platform and technology solutions. It closed a €150 million funding round from Columna Capital, which has been the majority owner since 2017. SanteVet will use the capital to expand into Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Austria and to accelerate growth in France, Belgium, Spain, and Germany. The group plans to create 500 new jobs worldwide, up from about 300 employees today. It is targeting 300,000 active policies by year-end and more than one million insured animals by 2026 to become the undisputed leader in the European animal health insurance market.
