The company delivers satellite and cellular device monitoring, emergency escalation, search and rescue, medical and security evacuation, and crisis response services. Its solutions support people, assets, and organizations on the move and serve channel partners and end users. FocusPoint has a long history supporting travel risk management for large multinationals, international NGOs, university study-abroad programs, and leisure travelers. The company expanded into the satellite emergency notification device (SEND) space after securing a commercial relationship with Globalstar in 2021 to provide on-demand emergency response for SPOT devices. It raised $20M in growth funding and plans to use the proceeds to expand capacity and take on new customers in the satellite-enabled emergency SOS space.
