  Prehos develops proprietary digital solutions to improve delivery of pre-hospital emergency care, home care, community paramedicine and the planning and optimization of patient and inter-establishment transport. The company says its platform is in use across several regions of Quebec, including Capitale-Nationale, and in more than 30 administrative regions of Ontario. After completing a $7.2 million seed financing, Prehos plans to double its operations team and hire the new employees by the end of 2022. The funds will be primarily used to further develop and deploy its technologies. Management says the raise will help consolidate its presence in Quebec and Ontario, expand across the rest of Canada, and support international development. Christian Chalifour, president and co-founder, remains the majority shareholder.
