Maro’s platform intervenes in real time to help security leaders combat human errors and AI-exacerbated threats by providing visibility into workforce behaviors and reinforcing secure actions in daily workflows. It enforces behavioral policies, prevents data loss to AI chatbots, intercepts clickjacking and typosquatting, and defends against social engineering and insider risks. The product was created with insights from 50 CISOs and CIOs to address gaps in legacy security workflows. Maro was founded in late 2024 by Jadon Montero (CEO), Gwen Betts (CXO), and Jen Andre (CTO). The founding team brings over 40 years of combined experience building security companies, with backgrounds at Rapid7 and Symantec. The company secured $4.3 million in seed funding to support team expansion, product development, and its launch strategy.
