MyJobCompany runs a platform that lets anyone act as a “social headhunter,” sharing job adverts with their networks and earning a fee for qualified applications and larger commissions for successful hires. Recruiters post detailed job ads specifying candidate type, skills and campaign reach; the platform algorithmically matches ads to thousands of social headhunters based on their social and professional profiles. The company also sells a version of its product to enable firms to run internal social referral programs. Since launching in France in January 2012 the platform has recruited 20,000 social headhunters there and another 5,000 in Chile, and it reports roughly 300 recruiter customers paying between €380 and several thousand euros depending on campaign reach and seniority targeted. MyJobCompany recently expanded its service to the UK. Financially, the company raised a €650,000 seed round in January 2013 from ESSEC Business Angels and Paris Business Angels.
