Overview
Essedel Oy actively works in the field of private equity investments since 1995. During this period we have carried out 16 successful investment projects on the Finnish and Russian market. The keystone to success in our work was close co-operation in investment projects with our partners in target companies, which have resulted in high growth of capitalization and dynamic development of projects. We invest in the perspective Finnish and Russian companies and we understand the value of entrepreneurship in business. We consider Russia as one of very interesting and perspective markets for private equity investments. We find it very exciting to work in this field as an investor and partner with an international experience in investment projects.

Zvooq operates a music streaming platform that allows companies to integrate a free, legal streaming solution into their products. Led by co-founder Victor Frumkin, the platform aims to convert illegal consumption into legal consumption by letting services offer consumer music. It provides a range of options covering free ad-supported streaming, a la carte downloads and ad-free subscriptions. The service integrates directly into social networks, phones and cellular carriers' offerings to offer a mass-market solution. Its catalog includes over 15 million songs, supporting 500,000 artists and 25,000 labels. The company intends to use raised funds to promote its freemium model and to initiate roll-out into certain developing-world territories.
