Prompt Security provides a platform that inspects prompts and model responses to prevent data leaks, blocks harmful content, and defends against GenAI-specific attacks such as shadow AI, prompt injections, and jailbreaks. The platform delivers full visibility, governance, and policy enforcement over AI tools used within organizations and offers flexible deployment options for different use cases. The company was the first vendor to provide comprehensive security and governance for Copilot for Microsoft 365. Led by CEO Itamar Golan, Prompt Security targets enterprise adoption of GenAI by securing applications and workflows. Since emerging from stealth in January, the company says it has quadrupled revenue and grown its customer base fivefold, counting Fortune 500 companies among its customers. It intends to use the proceeds to advance its solutions and expand its geographic footprint and presence across industries. Prompt Security provides visibility and protection for enterprise generative AI usage via a browser extension and IDE plugin that detect GenAI patterns and enforce policies with minimal latency. The company also offers application-security protections against prompt injections, jailbreaks and related attack surfaces. Founders Itamar Golan (CEO) and Lior Drihem (CTO) previously worked at Check Point and Orca Security; Golan is involved with the OWASP Top 10 initiative for LLM application security. Prompt Security is positioning itself as a one-stop platform covering both corporate InfoSec (employee/shadow AI usage) and GenAI application security. Today the company is focused on securing applications in production, with plans to expand into developer-focused tooling for development and testing phases. The team plans to roll out more services over time to increase customers' GenAI security posture based on additional funding and customer feedback.
