Overview
FIITJEE was created in 1992 by the vision and toil of Mr. D. K. Goel, a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from IIT Delhi. They had a very humble beginning as a forum for IIT-JEE, with a vision to provide an ideal launch pad for serious JEE aspirants.Along the way to realization of this vision, they went beyond merely coaching for IIT-JEE. We actually started to make a difference in the way Students think and approach problems. They started to develop ways to enhance Students’ IQ. They started to leave an indelible mark on the Students who have undergone FIITJEE training. They started changing lives. And all this was not a sheer coincidence. It was the urge, the compelling desire, to always aspire for perfection and in the process,continuously keep on setting newer benchmarks of excellence, which enabled us and their Students to achieve what they have achieved.

PlanetSpark delivers live 1:1 classes in public speaking, creative writing, storytelling, debate, podcasting, stand-up comedy and poetry targeting the K‑8 generation. The company operates from Gurugram and has focused on skill-based extracurricular learning rather than core academics. In FY23 its revenue from operations grew 41.3% to Rs 42.4 crore from Rs 30 crore in FY22. The firm narrowed losses by 18% to Rs 89.5 crore in FY23 from Rs 109.4 crore in FY22. PlanetSpark has raised multiple rounds of equity and debt and had mopped up over $34 million to date across debt and equity, per TheKredible. The product set centers on one‑to‑one live coaching for communication and creative skills for young learners. PlanetSpark provides neighbourhood learning zones where children in grades K-8 learn and develop 'new age' skills through in-house learning products that combine online learning with an offline experience. The company operates an asset-light model by partnering with unutilized assets in pre-schools, schools and strategic partners such as Oyo Townhouse to set up scalable neighbourhood blended-learning centres. PlanetSpark is led by Kunal Malik and Maneesh Dhooper. The startup raised a follow-on Pre-Series A round of INR 3.2 Cr. Backers include Indian Angel Network, Lead Angels, Hyderabad Angels and existing seed investor FIITJEE Limited. Management says the funds will be used to expand into new geographies and to increase enrolments by 10x over the next 12–15 months.
