Sneaky Panda is a nascent Israeli game developer building a new mobile game genre it calls the "luck-puzzler." The company plans to launch its first title in that genre and emphasizes skill and strategy in gameplay. Founders include CEO Ron Rejwan, a co-founder of Jelly Button Games (publisher of Pirate Kings), and Niv Touboul, former founder of Upopa Games and head of in-house games at SuperSonic. Sneaky Panda says the funds will be used to expand the company's talent. The company raised $6 million in a financing round led by Bitkraft Ventures, with participation from Remagine Ventures, FireArc, Joakim Achrén and Eyal Chomski. Investors cited the mobile market's growth and the team's experience as reasons for backing the company.
