FundThrough reports that 85 percent of its funding helps American clients. The acquisition of Ampla expands FundThrough’s digital-first ecosystem by adding working capital, business banking, corporate cards, and analytics capabilities. Ampla has surpassed over $2 billion in loan originations and handled over $5 trillion in transaction volume through its platform. FundThrough plans to use the new capital to pursue further acquisitions, invest in technology and AI, enhance UX, and accelerate product innovation. It intends to use proceeds from its recent financing to support expansion plans. Financially, the company secured a $24.3m second round comprising $4.3m of equity and access to $20m in loan capital. The seed funding will be used to expand the platform and service more businesses across Canada.
