Founded in 2023, Hybridity AI has built Hy5, a compliance platform that uses artificial intelligence to interpret regulations, monitor adherence, and replace today’s manual, resource-intensive workflows. The company targets highly regulated industries—especially financial services—where compliance is cited as a major growth bottleneck and is estimated to cost European businesses more than €150 billion each year. By continuously mapping complex rules and automating reporting, Hy5 aims to help clients grow faster while remaining fully compliant and managing risk more effectively. Hybridity recently appointed AI veteran Magnus Sahlgren, former Head of Research for Language Technologies at AI Sweden, as CEO to steer its next growth phase. The business plans to use fresh capital to accelerate commercialization and fuel international expansion. Although specific revenue or user numbers were not disclosed, the company positions itself as technically strong and “AI-native,” drawing on deep expertise from leaders with backgrounds at Palantir, Yubico, and other tech firms.
