Omnicart provides a plug-and-play delivery platform that enables local businesses in small towns to run last-mile delivery without Omnicart operating the service itself. The platform supports delivery of food, beverages, cannabis, liquor, and consumer goods and is live in more than 30 cities across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The company was co-founded in 2019 by CEO Arya Rashtchian and COO Nader Samadyan and currently has a 14-person team. Omnicart has raised C$2.0 million to date and is integrating with investor Foodhub following the latest investment. The startup plans to use the new funding to expand into more states, develop a new sales tool, and hire product managers and engineers. Omnicart emphasizes serving hyperlocal gaps that larger players have not fully addressed.
