Gamma 2 Robotics, based in Denver, develops a security robot that learns and operates in a variety of dynamic environments for businesses and system integrators. The robots are designed to reduce operational security costs, improve reliability, and add services including mobile video surveillance, temperature and humidity monitoring, and detection of intruders, fire, smoke, water, gas, and explosive chemicals. Led by Interim CEO Gary Graham, the company intends to use recent funding to enhance corporate leadership and execute a national product rollout. It also plans to develop the next-generation outdoor version of its robot. As of the Series A closing, Gamma 2 has raised a total of over $4.45M. The Series A financing closed on March 31, 2015 and was structured in two tranches.
