  Karma Yoga and Fitness is a community-focused health and wellness project based in Clackamas (near Portland), Oregon, co-founded by Cassia Mark and Chris Myers. The organization intends to create a community hub offering holistic and healing arts—yoga, meditation, reiki massage, dharma, chakras—and fitness programming including circuit training, personal training and dance. It plans social-impact programming such as four free yoga classes for veterans, free classes for kids, and scholarships for community members who cannot afford membership. Financially, the project raised $8.1K via crowdfunding, supported by 45 backers on Fundable. The company planned to open in early spring 2013 and use the hub model to combine healing arts and conventional fitness offerings.

  Seeds is developing a mobile game and an API that enable social microlending. The company plans to launch an updated iPhone version, build an Android release and develop the API to partner with established and developing games. Seeds has been approved by the App Store and the team has executed a microloan via mobile phone in Kenya. The team includes founder Rachel Cook, former Zynga iOS Tech Lead Amanda Wixted and game designer Brad Wiggins. Financially, Seeds raised $24,727 via Fundable crowdfunding from 55 backers. The funds will be used to launch the updated social microlending game on iPhone, build the Android version and construct the Seeds API.
