Mirage is a New York–based startup building augmented reality creation, storage, and NFT-marketable content, plus artist tooling and baseline AR infrastructure. The company provides creator tools for building and curating a decentralized transdigital reality between physical and digital worlds. In October Mirage launched its app in beta featuring original AR artworks by Jack Warne, Feltzine, Chloe Karyannis, Fiigmnt (CTO & co-founder) and Shl0ms, seeding AR visuals in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Mirage plans to take part in its first public AR event at NEAR’s Art without Limits showcase in Wynwood (Dec 1–2), demonstrating its 3D point-cloud painting technology. The company intends to use the funds to hire technical talent, further develop the platform, and launch a generally available product in the new year.
