SAEKI is a Swiss manufacturing automation company that combines large-scale additive (3D printing) and precision CNC machining in a unified production system. Its hybrid approach incorporates automated quality assurance and enables delivery of precision-engineered, large-format components in days rather than weeks. SAEKI serves industries including aerospace, automotive, and construction, and its technology reduces waste, shortens lead times, and helps reshore critical manufacturing capabilities to Europe. The company launched an instant quoting platform that lets customers upload designs, configure requirements, and receive immediate pricing, shrinking procurement cycles from days to minutes. SAEKI recently raised $6.7M, bringing total funding to over $8M. The investment is intended to accelerate development of autonomous factories that integrate quoting, 3D printing, machining, and inspection into a seamless process. SAEKI develops fully automated robotic cells it calls "microfactories" that combine 3D printing, milling and inspection to manufacture large components such as formwork for concrete and composite molds. The company operates on a robots-as-a-service model so customers book machine time rather than buying new equipment or retooling. SAEKI is building its first production hub in Switzerland and says its robots have been operational and producing parts for several months. It targets architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) clients—including construction companies, pre-casters, interior designers and architects—as well as the composites, aerospace and automotive industries. The startup emphasizes recyclable thermoplastics for 3D-printed formwork to save time and reduce waste compared with bespoke wooden molds. SAEKI says it is already generating revenue through pilot projects and is finalizing its first AEC pilots.
