Its platform is designed to combine ARINCDirect FOS flight-operations planning functionality with Stellar’s global distribution and commercial-operations technology to automate, simplify, and streamline business aviation operations. The company is developing fully integrated modules for commercial operations, revenue management, aircraft operations, crew management, and digital global distribution. Stellar plans to introduce the integrated platform at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention on October 10, 2017. Financially, Stellar raised $26.3 million in Series A equity financing from Columbia Equity Partners, Global Jet Capital, and Expa and has received previous equity funding and investment from Rockwell Collins. Together with prior rounds and Rockwell Collins’ funding, Stellar is investing over $50 million in its next-generation technology platform.
