We believe in the 'old' VC model where we are actively involved in our ventures. We provide our exceptional talent with funding, expertise, and mentoring for ambitious projects that can quickly become real businesses. Glowfish prefers to invest in booming industries, in growing economies where opportunities are plenty but real talent is scarce. Glowfish is based out of Dubai. It was founded in 2013 by Wim Torfs and Ali Malik, both McKinsey & Co alumni.

Founded in 2016 as MyDoctor.pk and recently rebranded to oladoc.com, the company operates an online health platform in Pakistan. It lists over 14,000 PMDC-verified doctors and enables users to book confirmed appointments instantly as a free service. The company has expanded its offerings to include online medicine and lab test ordering and provides website and mobile apps. In 2017 it helped over 10 lakh Pakistanis find the right doctors, indicating strong user traction. Management plans to add online consultations, recruit more qualified specialists who accept online bookings, and enhance electronic medical record functionality. The company intends to use recent funding to accelerate service expansion and to enter new overseas markets later in 2018.
