ClickTale, founded in 2006 and based in Tel Aviv, is a Digital Customer Experience (DCX) SaaS provider. Its software records visitors' in-page activity and produces visual insights including heatmaps, conversion funnels, and individual session replays that marketers use to optimize engagement and conversion. The product can operate as a stand-alone solution or add a visualization layer to traditional web analytics, A/B testing and voice-of-customer tools. ClickTale offers an enterprise-grade solution with a high near-term ROI and accompanies its technology with Customer Experience Consultants. The company serves a global blue-chip customer base, including Fortune 1000 clients such as Adobe, Home Depot, Tele2, Sears and Walmart. It was recognized by Deloitte as one of the 20 fastest growing companies in EMEA. ClickTale offers In-Page Analytics and Customer Experience Visualization technology that captures full browsing sessions (mouse moves, clicks, hovers, scrolls) and provides anonymous session playback, aggregated heatmaps, and tools to increase form completion and optimize conversions. Its flagship product, ClickTale Core, is an enterprise-class SaaS solution designed to reveal the user experience inside the page and support A/B testing and traditional analytics within an Online Optimization Cycle. The company says it serves more than 80,000 clients, including T-Mobile, CBS, and Lenovo. ClickTale positions its technology to help marketing and ecommerce managers discover why customers abandon carts and where user experience issues occur. The company plans to use recent investment proceeds to fund product development, broaden offerings, invest in R&D, and accelerate global expansion. Founded in 2006 and based in Tel Aviv, ClickTale reports rapid growth within its category and emphasizes immediate ROI for customers. ClickTale provides detailed website user-behavior analytics, including session replays (videos of site visits) and heat maps. Its product also links behavior to campaigns and users via customized email tracking tags. The company reports more than 500 paying customers and 500% revenue growth over the past year. A Skiddle case study showed average weekly bookings increased about 3.5× in the five weeks after deploying ClickTale. ClickTale has raised an undisclosed amount from angel investors and venture firm YL Ventures; CEO Tal Schwartz says he is talking with firms about a potential second round but isn’t in a hurry. It competes with Israel-based NuConomy, which focuses more on site-to-user behavior data.
