Genpop Interactive was founded in 2020 and is led by Grammy-winning producer and game director BloodPop alongside co-founder and COO Aubrey Tennant. The studio is building original AAA games intended to drive the next generation of music, fashion and gaming culture, and describes its approach as a cross-media, player-shaped experience. Its first project is an ambitious third-person shooter with novel movement and combat mechanics and a layered social world that responds to community feedback. Genpop comprises more than 25 developers drawn from decades of experience on top-grossing titles and operates fully remotely with roots in 21 cities across five countries. The company recently raised a $6.5M seed round, and says investors will help create gamer content for global audiences. Genpop is actively hiring for roles including UI Designer and Brand Manager.
