- Focal Point Procurement Solutions
Participated · Seed · Jun 2022
Founder Anders Lillevik, who has more than 25 years in procurement, started Focal Point to digitize an industry still relying on spreadsheets and email. The product combines a data integration layer that pulls information from underlying enterprise systems with a process/workflow layer that makes that data actionable inside workflows. Features include supplier discovery based on technical, environmental or diversity requirements, RFP issuance and processing, automated awarding, and out-of-the-box reporting and analytics to track buying stages and spending. Lillevik launched the company in 2020; the business has 21 employees, a handful of large customers and a healthy pipeline. The company is a disabled-owned business with a diverse onshore team in Atlanta and a developer team based in Ukraine. Focal Point recently raised a seed round to build its platform and has paused additional hiring for the rest of the year while monitoring external economic conditions.
