Aimi is a generative music platform that offers listener-tailored Experiences created by favorite DJs and producers in collaboration with the platform’s artificial intelligence. Led by President & CEO Edward Balassanian, the company currently offers dozens of Experiences and a premium tier, Aimi+, which features artists’ unreleased material and sonic motifs in compositions that change each time a user plays them. The platform adapts to users’ moods and real-time reactions to reanimate compositions on playback. Aimi plans to use new funding to introduce an operating system with a novel programming language, a new suite of desktop tools for artist partners and aspiring producers, and an updated mobile app. The company will also transition Aimi+ from a limited free period to a paid model that leverages blockchain technology and smart contracts to administer royalties and revenue to artists.
