  FullCircle is a Herndon, Virginia–based GeoSocial “Discovery” Network launched in 2011 by Michael Hodge that enables mobile and web users to identify and interact with people and businesses based on physical proximity, interests and preferences. Its core product integrates location awareness with social networking, allowing users to create location-aware groups or communities and identify nearby group members. Features include broadcast messaging to groups, mapping to observe group clusters, and opt-in privacy protections. The company offers a free mobile app on iPhone, iPad and Android in English, Chinese and Spanish. FullCircle plans to use new capital to grow membership, develop features in geofencing, location-based streaming media and mobile geo-targeted advertising, and to accelerate the launch of Microsoft-enabled services.
