It offers Secure Spaces, an Android virtualization platform that enables multiple virtual devices or “Spaces” — such as Personal, Kids, Work and Secure Banking — to co-exist on a single device. The company is led by CEO Alec Main. Graphite expects Secure Spaces will be deployed to over 100 million devices by the end of 2016. It plans to use the new funding to expand teams in both Ottawa and Beijing and to accelerate deployment of its virtual phone technology by Android OEMs worldwide. The company completed an $8M Series B to support these efforts. Graphite Software is a mobile security company based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Founded by Paul Litva, Alec Main and Ron Vandergeest, it provides enterprise and consumer solutions to make Android devices safe for downloading apps and to give companies tools to include Android phones in their networks without compromising security. The company's core product focuses on protecting Android devices and enabling IT teams to manage phone security.
