Led by founder and CEO Kyle Sherman and CRO Dave Smith, the platform includes the Stash mobile inventory app, the Cashier front-of-house POS app compatible with iPad/tablets, and a Specials engine plus Order Ahead via integration partner Dutchie. The company serves customers across 11 markets, including brands such as Cookies, Dr. Greenthumb’s, Green Dragon, Nectar and Starbuds. Flowhub raised $23M in a Series A to fund continued product innovation, hiring of technical talent, and expansion of its partner ecosystem through future technology integrations and an open API approach. Investors in the round include e.ventures, Poseidon, Evolv Ventures, 9Yards Capital, former NBA commissioner David Stern and Iqram Magdon-Ismail, among others. The funds will be used to deepen integrations and scale the platform's capabilities to help dispensaries manage compliance, supply chain data, sales transactions and reporting. Flowhub is a seed-to-sale software platform for the regulated cannabis industry that helps growers and dispensaries streamline supply chain operations and optimize profit margins. Founded in 2015 by Kyle Sherman, the company launched its product in June 2016. Flowhub offers a handheld device called the NUG that enables retailers and cultivators to manage operations via proprietary apps. Users can scan plant tags and report compliance data automatically back to state regulators. Since launch the company has processed close to $200 million in purchases across hundreds of dispensary locations in Colorado, Oregon and Alaska.
