CashKaro operates a B2C savings platform (apps include CashKaro, EarnKaro, CashKaro Shops and BankKaro) that delivers cashback, coupons, price comparisons and deals across more than 1,500 e‑commerce sites. The platform claims a user base of over 20 million and partnerships with merchants such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Mamaearth, Boat, Tata 1mg and Nykaa. Founded in February 2011 by Swati and Rohan Bhargava, the company focuses on driving online shopper savings and data‑driven engagement for retailers. Management intends to scale user acquisition, expand into other business sectors, invest in product development and increase hiring to support growth. Financially, CashKaro reported revenues of ₹225 crore for FY22 versus ₹97 crore for FY21 and says it aims to significantly increase revenue in the current fiscal year. CashKaro operates a cashback and coupon platform and has added services such as price comparison and the EarnKaro social‑commerce cashback app. The company monetizes by charging brands a commission on transactions made through CashKaro links, which funds cashback payouts redeemable to bank accounts or gift vouchers. CashKaro claims about five million users, EarnKaro has about one million registered users, and the business processes more than one million monthly transactions. It partners with over 1,500 e‑commerce sites, including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and Ajio, and together CashKaro and EarnKaro drive close to a half a billion dollars in GMV to partner sites. During the pandemic CashKaro expanded into categories like education, gaming and online video streaming and says sales have been growing month on month since June. Planned product and go‑to‑market moves include doubling the registered member base over the next 12 months, expanding EarnKaro, extending cashback into categories like credit cards and education, launching festival and IPL marketing campaigns, and hiring including leadership roles. CashKaro claims to be India’s largest cashback and coupon site, working with more than 1,000 e-commerce partners to surface offers and coupons. The platform earns affiliate commissions that range from 1–30% depending on retailer and category, and returns roughly 75–90% of those commissions to users as cash that can be deposited into bank accounts. CashKaro processes about $10 million in total sales per month and has credited roughly $3 million in cashbacks since its April 2013 launch, a figure it expects to reach $5.4 million in the near term. Advertising is becoming an increasingly important revenue stream alongside affiliate income. The company has added price-comparison and product-discovery engines to drive transactions and user engagement. Founders Swati and Rohan Bhargava plan product and geographic expansion, including a mobile app and entry into Southeast Asian markets. Cashkaro operates an online platform that gives Indian shoppers cashback and coupon codes which can be combined with retailers' existing sales and promotions. Led by husband-wife founders Rohan and Swati Bhargava, the service was formally launched in India in April 2013. The company works with established and upcoming brands including Flipkart, Babyoye, First Cry, makemytrip, Pizza Hut, Tradus, Goibibo, Mericar and Foodpanda. It is also launching offers in Delhi and Mumbai at restaurants such as Nirula, Subway, Dominos, Olive and Smoke House Deli. Cashkaro raised $750K in funding and intends to use the proceeds to further strengthen its market position in India. The service has been launched in India by UK-based Pouring Pounds Ltd, which runs various cashback websites in the UK.
