Its proprietary architecture is built on NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and OSCAL and targets government agencies, banks, energy firms and other highly regulated organizations. Kovr.ai emerged from stealth with $3.6 million in seed funding and plans to use the proceeds to expand go-to-market, AI engineering, and product development teams. The company says its product can reduce compliance work that can take up to 1,000 hours to as little as minutes, and it cites customers including Obviant, Pellonium, and ConductorAI. Founders Andrew Black and Sri Iyer are former AWS, Gartner, and PwC executives, and the company lists advisors such as Bryan Ware and Matt Devost.
