Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) is a boutique supercar manufacturer founded by legendary designer Gordon Murray and renowned for its focus on lightweight engineering and “engineering art.” The company’s current model roster includes the T.50, T.50s Niki Lauda, T.33 and several products emerging from its recently launched Special Vehicles division, such as the S1 LM. Production remains intentionally scarce; only 100 T.50s have been built to date, and management reiterates that further restriction of allocations is central to the brand’s appeal. Customer deliveries have suffered delays—partly attributed in the article to cash-flow constraints—prompting the need for fresh capital to accelerate the “timely delivery of the current vehicle order book.” With a long-term roadmap stretching to 2039, GMA is now reshuffling management, appointing CFO Darren Jukes as interim CEO while Gordon Murray stays on as Chairman and Chief Designer.
