- DYPER
Participated · Equity · Oct 2020
DYPER is a subscription-based diaper service that delivers bamboo-based compostable diapers directly to customers each month. Its diapers are free from chlorine, latex, alcohol, PVC, lotions, TBT and phthalates, and are unprinted, unscented, soft, durable and highly absorbent. DYPER packaging is made from oxo-degradable materials, and the company purchases carbon offsets that support reforestation for each delivery. Subscribers can opt into the REDYPER program, which uses specially engineered UN Haz Mat shipping boxes to return soiled diapers for composting. The composted waste is used in specialized applications such as vegetation in highway medians. The company is using new capital to expand in the US and amplify its environmental impact.
- RPI
Led · Equity · Jul 2010
RPI prints custom photo books, greeting cards, invitations, calendars, notebooks, posters and other personalized printed products. It can mass-manufacture orders using a 14-step process and patent-pending software, and provides an online portal so customers can track where their print job is in the process. The company targets brands placing larger orders and works with partners such as Walgreens, Snapfish and TinyPrints to develop, manufacture and deliver customer orders. RPI says its pricing is about 40 percent of the photo-printing-products industry. The company plans to use the new funding to introduce services including merchandising programs and brand-owner opportunities. Huntington Capital’s Tim Bubnack will join RPI’s board as part of the financing.
