Eximia, founded in 2003 and led by CEO Mario Di Floriano, develops products, applications and solutions based on RFId technologies. Its offerings target security systems, anti-counterfeiting, supply chain management, payments/transactions, asset control, access control and tracking of goods, vehicles and people. The company lists customers including San Paolo Intesa, Unicredit, SI Services, A.C. Milan, ABB Italy, British Telecom/I-Net, ACR Canton Ticino, World Business Forum, ABI Lab and ESRI. Eximia raised €211K in funding from Alessandro Vannucci’s iDooo ICT Investments and intends to use the funds to expand internationally. As part of the deal, Eximia will acquire Pixope, a suite of 3D modules for advanced training of process industry operators, and will develop the modules via its subsidiary Virthualis. Headquartered in Cagliari, Italy, the company focuses on applying RFId to improve operational efficiency across multiple industries.
