Overview
IFCI Venture Capital Funds Ltd was set up by IFCI Ltd in 1975 as Risk Capital Foundation with a view to widen the entrepreneurial base by providing start up capital for setting up Green Field projects. Since its inception IFCI Venture has provided the start-up capital and venture funding to over 400 entrepreneurs.

Ivory, co-founded by Issac John and Rahul Krishnan and launched in early 2023 in Mumbai, develops clinical-grade cognitive assessments and personalised brain health solutions delivered through its app. The platform combines neuroscience, neuropsychology, and data-driven interventions and is supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team including neuroscience, neurology, general medicine, and neuropsychology professionals. Ivory aims to make cognitive screening accessible and trackable as part of preventive care and has been expanding partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, including a collaboration with Metropolis Healthcare to launch the TruHealth Mind & Body package. The company has raised multiple rounds to date, including $1M in April last year (co-led by IIM-A Ventures and Capital A), $500K from Capital A in February 2024, and the recent $1M seed round from Draper Associates, SAGE Venture Fund, MoSJE, IFCI Ventures, and SIDBI. Ivory plans to use the new proceeds to strengthen its technology stack, expand clinical capabilities, and enhance product offerings to build scalable, evidence-based solutions. The company has gained public visibility through an appearance on Shark Tank India.
