Pleep spun out of a prior project at the end of 2023 and pivoted in April 2024 to a self-service platform that lets non-technical entrepreneurs launch AI assistants for sales, support and consultation. Unlike no-code chatbot builders that rely on a single OpenAI endpoint, Pleep chains multiple AI models so each step—from data processing to decision-making—is optimized for speed and accuracy. The product is sold on a subscription basis starting at 15,000 KZT per month. In January 2024 the company reported more than 50 paying customers in Kazakhstan and a monthly recurring revenue of “several thousand” U.S. dollars, backed by documented use-case improvements such as an 11 % conversion lift for Squares.kz and 60 % ticket deflection for Prosper Pay. The 17-year-old CEO Mark Inger and a lean team worked without salaries for six months before receiving a small grant that allowed them to begin paying staff. Fresh capital is now being directed toward marketing and additional engineering hires. Management aims to scale MRR to $20 k over the next year and enter Turkey and other international markets in 2025.
