  Legal Raasta Technologies operates an online platform offering legal and compliance services to SMEs, entrepreneurs and professionals, including company registration, ITR and TDS filing, and trademark services. Launched in June 2015, the company claims to have served over 80,000 SMEs to date and reported revenues of nearly Rs 10 crore in FY2016-17. It runs legalraasta.com and has set up a 24x7 helpline for SMEs to get GST-registration and compliance support. The firm intends to build GST-compliance software for SMEs, CAs and enterprises, including standalone software and an API to connect ERPs such as SAP, Oracle and Tally with GST systems. Legal Raasta has applied to be a GSP (GST Suvidha Provider) with the government and targets the more than 80 lakh potential SMEs to be covered under the GST regime. Management plans to invest the Series A proceeds in technology and operations and scale the team to about 300 people over six months. The company also offers reconciliation, excel upload and app-based GST filing features as part of its product roadmap. Legal Raasta Technologies operates legalraasta.com, an online platform offering over 50 legal, compliance and documentation services to entrepreneurs, SMEs and professionals. Services include company incorporation, FSSAI registration, service tax and trademark registration, import-export code registration, and legal advice to startups and SMEs. Customers use DIY forms and pay nominal processing fees online; the firm provides status updates via a CRM and is registered as an e-filing intermediary, with partnerships including e-Mudra, the Registrar of Companies and Intuit. The company claims more than 2,200 customers, over 11,000 daily enquiries and revenues growing at about 40% per month. Legal Raasta plans to expand its team from 25-plus to over 70, set up full-service metro offices, improve its technology platform, add more documentation services and build a cloud-enabled platform with offerings such as LegalRaahi.com and TaxRaahi.com. Founded in June 2015 by Himanshu Jain and Pulkit Jain, the firm competes with NovoJuris and Vakilsearch and is targeting 2–4% penetration of a market it estimates at over Rs 20,000 crore.
