Ivy Capital Partners, LLC (“ICP”), is a specialized private equity investment firm dedicated to investing in promising companies operating in the musculoskeletal sector of the healthcare industry. Our focus on musculoskeletal companies stems from our belief that a number of compelling macroeconomic, demographic and scientific trends bode well for the future of this large and rapidly growing sector. Pivot Medical develops and markets technologies for the rapidly growing hip arthroscopy segment of the orthopedic marketplace. Its initial offering, the Pivot Hip Arthroscopy System, was developed from the ground up to address unique challenges in hip arthroscopy and is designed to improve safety, efficiency and ease for physicians. The company plans to use recently raised capital to support commercial rollout of the system in the United States and Europe and to expand its clinical research programs. Leadership includes president and CEO Jack Giroux and co-founder Julian Nikolchev, and the board features industry and investor representatives. Pivot positions itself as a provider of a comprehensive, highly differentiated technology platform dedicated to hip preservation.
